The Butterfly’s Breath

2025

Ink and watercolour on rice paper A chrysanthemum blossoms in the simplicity of ink, accompanied by a delicate bamboo branch barely visible in one corner of the composition. A butterfly brings a touch of lightness, marked by a subtle blue accent—the only color in the entire painting. This delicate contrast evokes freedom, transience, and the unexpected beauty that emerges from silence.
